Frequently Asked Questions

Can an agency nominate a law enforcement officer for more than one act of bravery?

Yes. As part of the Congressional Badge of Bravery (CBOB) program, the agency head may nominate a law enforcement officer for more than one act of bravery that occurred during the current eligibility time period. To do so, a separate application must be submitted for each act of bravery that the agency head wishes to have the officer considered.
